Suggests separate parking for trucks

I have mixed feelings about the new Fairhaven parking regulations. I can understand the merchants wanting more turnover, but the hours are longer than metered parking and are for seven days, versus five downtown.

I believe a bigger concern is the oversized trucks and vans that stick out along Harris. It makes it difficult to allow two-way traffic and is very dangerous trying to back out of parking spaces. You are at least half way into the street before you can tell if another car is coming. Can’t an area be set aside for these behemoths?
