Says new jail would help rehabilitation
As jail sizes go up, re-incarceration rates go down. At least that’s what Ohio governor John Kasich appears to be saying. Once you’re jailed, they work with you in that state until there’s a 90 percent probability that you will not return.
It turns out our new county jail as proposed would be of the same basic design. A great deal of experienced thought has gone into its physical layout expressly for the purpose of maximizing rehabilitation and/or restoring of mental health.
