Says refugees owed resettlement in U.S.

If there was any fairness in the world – which there is not – I believe the majority of migrants fleeing the Middle East and north Africa would be resettled into the United States.

Given that the conditions they are attempting to escape I believe are the direct result of various failed interventions by the United States, it is only right that this country assume responsibility for its actions. In other words, if you break it, you own it.

Perhaps if the migrants could be resettled directly into the communities of those I believe most directly responsible for these policies (such as Bush, Cheney and Obama), future leaders might give pause before meddling in the affairs of other nations.

And yes, a certain percentage should also go to the U.K., for its participation in the coalition.

If nothing else, it would be interesting to see how the influx of a million poor and angry Muslims into this country might affect U.S. politics.
