Finds irony in tax-fighter’s thanks
The Aug. 23 edition of the paper included a photograph of a grateful homeowner in Omak thanking fire fighters for saving his house. His shirt boldly proclaimed “Lower taxes plus less government equals more freedom!” Anyone see the irony there? Without taxes and government, there would have been no firefighters there to save this guy’s house!
