On July 31, I called the 911 emergency service for heart problems which needed immediate medical attention. I would like to praise the quick and competent care given to me by both the fire department and the paramedics. They were wonderful and I am impressed with their fast arrival and professional attention to my needs. They were so kind and helpful in easing my distress and quickly getting me to the hospital.
This past week, I contacted both departments and expressed my gratitude to Rob Kintzele, assistant fire chief, Bellingham Fire Department and Captain Christian Carson, Station 2. Their teams are amazing.
We are so blessed in this community to have such wonderful emergency service available and I would like to publicly thank them.
