Wants cyclists tested, charged for licenses

I find it appalling that the city of Bellingham is spending millions of dollars of the taxpayers’ money pandering to bicycle riders yet continues to ignore the project to restore the Bayview Cemetery mausoleum. I believe bicycle riders contribute nothing to the economy, constantly violate traffic laws yet are the No. 1 priority of the liberal administration. They should be required to pass a rider test and buy licenses. They could then be monitored and cited for violations, and the money raised would be used for such painting. Maybe then the administration could complete the restoration of the mausoleum which has been on hold and closed for three years. They might even get a few more votes from those entombed there.
