Letter: We appreciate Whatcom Search and Rescue’s professionalism in finding our dear friend

I am writing to express our deepest gratitude to the incredible Whatcom Search and Rescue Team, whose tireless efforts to find our beloved son, brother and friend, Sebastian Urban, gave us hope during our darkest hours.

Inspired by their unwavering dedication, professionalism and expertise, we witnessed firsthand how their advanced technology and equipment allowed them to cover vast areas efficiently. Their ability to coordinate and collaborate with other agencies demonstrated their tireless commitment to their community.

Moreover, their regular updates, filled with empathy and understanding, were a lifeline that offered us a sense of connection and comfort. We are eternally grateful for their selfless service and dedication.

Although the loss of Sebastian is devastating beyond words, we have found solace in knowing that he is not a missing person. We are able to put him to rest and grieve as a family and community.

The work of this organization is incredible, to say the least, and we have encouraged our friends and family to make donations to the Whatcom Search and Rescue Team to support their important mission.
