OK with council attending panel
I am troubled that the Whatcom County Council, under advice of lawyers, “to avoid information on the coal port, especially if it is going to be one-sided” did not attend the panel hosted by “pro-business groups on Monday.” Our County Council it going to make decisions on granting or not granting a permit for this endeavor. Without full information and willingness to listen to opposing sides a good decision is impossible. Certainly the council has the ability to evaluate all information given to them.
