Fire weather watch issued for Western Columbia Basin for Saturday, says the NWS

At 2:07 a.m. on Friday, the NWS Spokane WA released a fire weather watch valid for Saturday between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. for Western Columbia Basin.
"The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening. Affected Area: Western Columbia Basin (Zone 707). Winds: West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Relative Humidities: 12 to 20%. Impacts: Rapid fire spread is likely with any new or ongoing fires," says the NWS.
This watch is in effect until Saturday at 9 p.m.
According to the NWS, a fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions are possible. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
