An extreme heat watch was issued by the NWS Pendleton OR on Friday at 11:31 a.m. valid from Monday 11 a.m. until Tuesday 11 p.m. for Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Washington.
The NWS informs, "Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 98 degrees possible. This will pose a major risk of heat-related illness."
