On Wednesday at 2:16 p.m. an updated dust advisory was released by the NWS Spokane WA in effect until 3 p.m. for Spokane County.
"At 2:16 p.m., a dust channel was 10 miles east of Cheney, moving northeast at 5 mph," comments the NWS. "This includes U.S. Highway 195 in Washington between mile markers 78 and 82."
The advisory is for Spangle.
"Hazardous travel," says the NWS. "Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep your foot off the brake."
