A collision on northbound Interstate 5 in Bellingham has traffic backed up Monday afternoon between the Sunset Drive on ramp and Guide Meridian exit, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The collision was reported at 1:45 p.m. June 22, and is blocking the right lane of traffic, according to WSDOT.

Medical and fire units are on scene along with the Incident Response Team and Washington State Patrol, according to WSDOT.
