Expect weekend I-5 delays through Bellingham due to planned lane reduction
Drivers using Interstate 5 through Bellingham over the weekend may experience delays due to a planned lane reduction.
Maintenance crews will close the right lane of northbound I-5 at Samish Way from 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, until about 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 3, to replace concrete panels, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The northbound I-5 off-ramp at Lakeway Drive will also be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, according to WSDOT.
