Interstate 5 lane, on-ramp in Bellingham closing Wednesday night for maintenance
Bellingham’s Iowa Street on-ramp to Interstate 5, along with a northbound lane of the freeway, will close on March 11 for maintenance, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
The closure will impact I-5 near Lakeway Drive and the on-ramp from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 4 a.m. Thursday, according to WSDOT.
The lane closure will allow crews to do maintenance on the guardrail and vegetation work, according to WSDOT.
Drivers are advised to find other routes during the closure to avoid traffic.
