One lane of southbound I-5 will be closed near Burlington for guardrail work

Commuters heading south on Interstate 5 on Monday, Jan. 26, will likely hit some slow or backed-up traffic due to some guardrail repair work north of Burlington.

The left lane of I-5 will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. next to the Bow Hill rest area while crews from the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) make repairs, according to a WSDOT news release.

People can receive real-time roadway information via the WSDOT mobile app or the real-time travel map.
