Northbound I-5 through Bellingham will be reduced to one lane overnight midweek
One lane of Interstate 5 through Bellingham will be closed overnight Wednesday, Jan. 7 for maintenance.
The left lane of northbound I-5 north of Lakeway Drive will be closed starting at 10 p.m. It will reopen at 5 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
The lane closure comes as WSDOT crews are working to replace a Jersey barrier along the freeway.
