Update: Traffic resumes at Sunset Drive on-ramp to I-5 following collision

A collision early Monday afternoon has closed access to Interstate 5 at the Sunset Drive on-ramp in Bellingham, according to social media posts from the Washington Department of Transportation.

The on-ramp was fully blocked just before 1 p.m. Monday. WSDOT did not provide an expected time for traffic to clear. The agency suggests drivers should expect delays in the area and should seek other routes if possible.
