One lane of southbound I-5 through Bellingham to close for road work Monday

The left southbound lane of Interstate 5 will be closed in Bellingham from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27 while Washington State Department of Transportation staff repair a guardrail.

The closure will be in effect around the Old Fairhaven Parkway exit near milepost 250, according to a WSDOT news release.

Drivers should expect delays during the closure.
