Full nighttime closures of Interstate 5 in Bellingham set for this week

A paving project will close all lanes of Interstate 5 in Bellingham on Tuesday and Wednesday night, the Washinton State Department of Transportation said.

Signed detours will be in place, WSDOT tweeted Tuesday morning:

Northbound I-5 will close from Sunset Drive to Meridian Street from 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20.
Southbound I-5 will close from Northwest Avenue to Meridian Street from 10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, to 5 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21.
