Update: Northbound I-5 traffic resumes following Bellingham crash

UPDATE: Traffic resumed as the lane was cleared around 2:53 p.m.

Significant delays are expected along northbound Interstate 5 in Bellingham following a collision that has blocked the left lane near Iowa Street. The collision was reported to the emergency app PulsePoint at 2:16 p.m. Traffic was backed up to Old Fairhaven Parkway as of 2:47 p.m.

Incident response and fire crews are on scene, as well as an ambulance. Injuries and the details involving the collision are unknown at this time.
