UPDATE: I-5 northbound traffic resumes near Burlington
UPDATE: Northbound traffic resumed in both lanes just before 3 p.m. Monday.

A collision on Interstate 5 in Burlington has traffic backed up nearly 2 miles.
The collision is blocking the northbound lane, and traffic is backed up over a mile and growing, according to the Washington State Patrol, which is on scene and advising people to take alternate routes if possible.
No other information regarding the collision has been released.
