Bakerview Road ramps to southbound I-5 will close on two days next week

Southbound lanes of the Bakerview Road on-ramp to Interstate 5 will close on two days next week.

Washington state Department of Transportation crews are resuming road work that had been stopped as part of statewide limits on construction aimed at limiting the spread of the new coronavirus pandemic.

But Gov. Jay Inslee has allowed low-risk work to resume as new COVID-19 infections continue to decline.

The southbound Bakerview Road on-ramp will close from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, May 6-7, as WSDOT crews repair asphalt.

Alternate freeway access will be the I-5 ramp off McLeod Road, east of Northwest Avenue.
