Friends of the Packwood Library holding silent auction fundraiser

The Friends of the Packwood Timberland Library are hosting a silent auction to raise funds for the 2027 summer library programs.

The auction began Saturday, June 27, and will run until July 25, when winners will be awarded their items at the Friends' table at the Packwood Saturday Market. Residents must be present to win, and only cash or checks are accepted.

Auction items can be seen at the Packwood Library, the Packwood Saturday Market and possibly at participating businesses in Packwood's downtown area, according to a news release from event organizers. Items include dining vouchers, coffee and accoutrements, a pair of spa robes, handcrafted bowls, beautiful beadwork and more.

The Packwood Library is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays and is located at 109 Main St. W., Packwood.
