Longview Parks and Recreation's free summer movie series returns in August.

Movies will be shown at Lake Sacajawea's Hemlock Plaza in Longview.

Pre-movie activities at 7:30 p.m. and movies begin at dusk.

Schedule

Aug. 21: "Shrek," 2001 animated fantasy comedy voiced by Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy.

Aug. 27: "Hook," 1991 fantasy adventure film starring Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman.

Sept. 4: "Wicked," 2024 musical fantasy starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.
