Kelso driver, motorcyclist injured in Industrial Way crash
Two Kelso residents were rushed to different hospitals Thursday after a car collided into a Chinese-made sportbike while turning on Industrial Way near the Mint Farm.

Darian J. Singer 21, was airlifted to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, and Tiffany I. Sim, 31, was taken to PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview in the aftermath of a crash reported at 11:09 a.m. Thursday on Industrial Way near the Hoehne Avenue intersection.
According to a press memo issued Thursday afternoon from Washington State Patrol, Sim was driving a black 2008 Dodge Charger sedan on Hoehne Avenue, attempting to turn left onto westbound Industrial Way, also known as State Route 432, when police say she failed to yield to oncoming traffic and struck Singer riding a 2024 CFMoto 450SS motorcycle.
According to the preliminary report, police say that Singer was wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time of the crash and Sim was wearing her seatbelt.
Sim was cited for suspected infractions of second-degree negligent driving and driving without a valid license.
