Skagit Valley College baseball team swept by Everett

MOUNT VERNON - The Skagit Valley College baseball team lost a pair of Northwest Athletic Conference North Region games to Everett on Sunday, falling 7-0 and 15-6.

In the opener, the Cardinals were held to one hit - by Derek Feltner - while the Trojans had 13.

In the second game, Skagit Valley had six runs on eight hits.

Skagit Valley's Kai Douglas was 3-for-5, while Braden Requa was 1-for-3 with a home run, run scored and three RBI.

Defensively, the Cardinals committed seven errors.

Skagit Valley is 6-12 in North Region play and 7-26 overall.

MOUNT VERNON - The Cardinals forfeited both games of the Northwest Athletic Conference North Region doubleheader.

Skagit Valley is 3-8 in North Region play and 3-12 overall.
