Man taken to hospital after early morning shooting in southeast Vancouver parking lot
A man was shot in southeast Vancouver and taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries early Saturday morning, Vancouver Police reported.
Around 2:20 a.m. Saturday, Vancouver Police responded to a report of a shooting in a parking lot in the 11800 block of SE Mill Plain Boulevard, about a quarter mile east of SE Chkalov Drive.
When police arrived, they found a 20-year-old who had been shot, and the suspect had fled the scene.
Police canvassed the area, and a K9 track was conducted. But the suspect was not located.
The VPD Major Crimes Team is continuing the investigation. For further information was released.
