Gambler scores slot machine jackpot at Western Washington casino. Here’s how much

A lucky gambler is starting 2026 with some extra cash after scoring a sizable slot machine jackpot at a Western Washington casino.

The slot machine player won more than $86,000 at Snoqualmie Casino and Hotel in Snoqualmie, casino officials wrote in a Sunday, Jan. 4, post.

“Another guest just walked away with $86,790.30,” Snoqualmie Casino officials said, calling the win “proof that big wins happen here!”

It’s the latest in the series of jackpot wins at Western Washington casinos.

In December, a gambler turned a $60 bet into a $263,541 win on a Huff N’ Even More Puff slot machine at Tulalip Resort Casino in Tulalip, The News Tribune previously reported.

Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn reported two big scores in December: a $61,112 win on a Monkey in the Bank slot machine and a $142,866 win on a Wild Wild Buffalo slot machine.

What is Snoqualmie Casino and Hotel?

Snoqualmie Casino and Hotel, 37500 SE North Bend Way in Snoqualmie, has more than 1,800 slot machines, an “expansive non-smoking gaming floor” and 58 table games, including blackjack, roulette and baccarat, according to its website.

The King County casino is about a 46-minute car ride from Tacoma.

It takes more than an hour to drive to Snoqualmie from Olympia.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
