Another recall for wood in corn-dog batter hits Publix, Walmart, Target, others
For the second time in 10 days, millions of pounds of corn dogs and corn dog-like products have been recalled because they may have wood in the batter.
And again, the recall hits some of the nation’s leading grocers, including Walmart, Kroger, Publix and Target.
This not-food-in-your-food recall pulls 3.8 million pounds of Foster Farms Corn Dogs and turkey on a stick products. Most of these stores also got hit in September when Hillshire Foods recalled corn dogs and sausage on a stick products sold under the Jimmy Dean and State Fair brands.
