Here are Whatcom restaurants opening for dining in Phase 2 of coronavirus Safe Start
With Whatcom County approved Friday, June 5, to advance to Phase 2 of Gov. Jay Inslee’s Safe Start plan, restaurants are reopening after being closed for the new coronavirus pandemic.

▪ Boundary Bay, downtown, 360-647-5593, plans to open Wednesday, June 17, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. for lunch, 5 p.m. reopen for dinner.
▪ Asian 1, Guide Meridian, 360-752-2422, plans to open Wednesday, June 17, 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday-Tuesday and 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday.

Initial hours will then be 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday. Restaurant will reopen with an expanded outdoor patio.
