A furry thief set off a burglar alarm at a home and garden store, according to U.K. authorities.

Norwich Police responded to a burglar alarm at a store in eastern England, the agency said in a tweet.

Officers said they arrived to find the intruder — a hungry squirrel — stealing a snack of nuts and bird food.

“Unfortunately he was too quick and nimble for us and got away,” police said.

The store, B&Q, said on Twitter that, “he must have been scouting out the place for days. Definitely a pro!”

Norwich is about 110 miles northeast of London.
