Active Shooter Reported At Mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge police have responded to reports of an active shooter in the Mall of Louisiana, which has evacuated all shoppers.
Reports indicate that shots were first heard near the mall food court at around 1:30 p.m. local time. Paramedics have also been called to the scene, with four possible victims inside the mall at this time, according to local outlet WBRZ.
The FBI has also arrived at the scene, according to local reports.
Authorities are searching for one to two suspects in connection with the shooting. All doors to the building have been locked.
The mall was previously the site of a shooting in 2022, when a man killed two teens in a drive-by.
