Woman crashes and flips car when she’s shot by her ex-boyfriend, Pennsylvania cops say

A woman was shot in the legs by her 39-year-old ex-boyfriend while she was driving, causing her to crash, Pennsylvania police and local news outlets reported.

The man fired shots from an adjacent vehicle, striking the woman in the legs on Jan. 2, Philadelphia police said.

The 26-year-old woman then crashed into an unoccupied parked vehicle and her car flipped, according to police and WPVI.

The man fled, and his ex-girlfriend was taken to the hospital in stable condition, police said .

Earlier in the evening, police were called to a home for a domestic incident between the same two people, officials told WCAU.

Police say they are searching for the suspected shooter and an investigation is ongoing.
