Kitten saved from a dog’s mouth loves ‘everything and everyone.’ She needs a home
One kitten in Texas may have had a rough start in life, but it’s done nothing to affect her charm and love of life.
According to the South Plains SPCA in Lubbock, Ivy, a charismatic little feline who is available through the shelter’s “Foster-to-Adopt” program, had a run of extremely good luck early on when she was saved from a pretty scary situation.
“My name is Ivy! I’m always glad to see you! I love everything and everyone! I love to run and play with my foster friend, Harley Quinn,” the shelter said in a Nov. 26 Facebook post.
“I was rescued from a dog who had me in its mouth, but I wasn’t badly hurt and I’m not afraid of my foster’s dogs. I get along with all of the cats at my foster’s house. I love toys, Temptations treats and squeeze-up treats….mmm—catnip….and wet food is divine! Oh, and did I mention that I love to play? I am the life of the party and the party never stops!”
Those who are interested in Ivy must be a resident of Lubbock County.
McClatchy News has reached out to the South Plains SPCA for more information on Ivy but has not received an immediate response.
