Pink fostered a puppy while on tour — but it didn’t last. ‘Never been happier to fail’

The term “foster fail” isn’t as heart-wrenching as some might assume — it’s what happens when someone who is fostering a shelter pet ends up adopting the dog or cat instead of finding them another home.

And singer Pink is the newest member of the foster fail club.

On Oct. 17, the “So What” singer, along with the nonprofit animal rescue organization The Bond Between in Minnesota, announced in a joint Instagram post that Pink would be fostering a puppy named Graham Cracker.

“We still can’t believe this is happening! The incredible @pink —yes, THE P!NK—reached out to us while she’s in town for her St. Paul show to foster our sweet boy, Graham Cracker!” the shelter said in a post featuring the songstress holding the puppy.

“If that wasn’t amazing enough, she’s taking Graham on the adventure of a lifetime with her and her family on tour, with the goal of helping him find his forever home by the end of it!”

However, it didn’t work out — because Pink ended up keeping the pup for herself.

“It’s official … I am a foster fail! We are keeping Graham Cracker! (Never been happier to fail)” the singer said in a Nov. 19 Instagram post.

“Thank you to @thebond_between for not only bringing him into our lives, but for all the tireless hard work they do to help rehome all their animals.”

Graham Cracker was rescued in Arkansas, and while some his siblings found foster homes in the state, the Grammy winner’s newest family member was transferred to Minnesota, KARK reported.

“She checked out our website and fell absolutely in love with Graham Cracker,” Maggie Schmitz, the director of marketing for The Bond Between, told KARK. “She said it was love at first sight just for this shepherd-lab looking mixed puppy.”

This wasn’t Pink’s first time fostering while on tour, People magazine said, but it appears to be the first time she’s a foster fail. She did, however, warn her fans that her family already had gotten attached to the sweet puppy.

“We’re probably gonna keep him. But this is the idea, so we’ll see where this goes,” Pink said in an Oct. 18 post. “But also, if you guys ever could foster doggies it’s a really lovely thing to do and they have a great organization, The Bond Between they’re called.”
