A Texas woman beat her husband to death and went over to her neighbor’s home to tell them about it, police told news outlets.

Officers with the Universal City Police Department responded to a 911 call from the neighbor at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, KSAT reported. Shortly after police arrived at the scene on the community’s south side, a woman was taken into custody, the department said.

Constance Seinwill, 61, is facing a charge of murder, Bexar County court records show.

Police arrived to find her husband, 64-year-old Ronald Seinwill, dead on the floor and blood “throughout the home,” WOAI reported.

According to police, Constance Seinwill got into an argument with her husband on Tuesday night, the station reported. Things escalated, and Seinwill knocked her husband to the ground and “continued striking” him with an unspecified object, police said.

Seinwill was booked on Sept. 25 and is awaiting indictment, records show. Her bond is set at $150,000.

Universal City is a roughly 20-mile drive northeast from downtown San Antonio.
