Man accused of forcing teen to send nudes also had photos of 7-year-old sister, OR cops say
A mom told police a man offered to pay her for nude photos of her child, Oregon officials said. Now he’s arrested.
In March, the woman declined 55-year-old Lyle G. Gage Jr.’s request and contacted police, according to an Aug. 7 news release by the Portland Police Bureau.
Officers searched Gage’s devices and found nude photos of a 7-year-old girl, police said. They also said they found emails between Gage and the girl’s 16-year-old sister.
Police learned the girls lived in Wyoming and determined Gage used threats to force the teen to send him explicit videos over the course of the past two years, officers said.
Gage was arrested Aug. 5 on charges of sexual exploitation of children, receipt of child pornography, possession of child pornography, and coercion and enticement of a minor, police said.
Officers believe there could be more victims and ask anyone with information to contact Aaron.rizzo@police.portlandoregon.gov.
