Four women were kidnapped, then some of them were bound and sexually assaulted inside a shipping container, Pennsylvania authorities say.

Now, two men have been arrested, each facing more than a dozen charges, Pennsylvania State Police troopers announced June 26. The women were all rescued from the horrific ordeal.

“It was a minor miracle no one was killed,” Monroe County District Attorney Mike Mancuso told WYOU, adding the victims were “extremely traumatized and scarred” by the incident.

Troopers said the four women were kidnapped June 24 and taken to the property of Davaun Carlon Jackson in Monroe County.

Two of the women had witnessed a shooting, and when they were ordered into Jackson’s SUV, two other women were already in the vehicle, WNEP reported, citing state police.

With help from his accomplice, Isaiah Rogers-Keeney, Jackson held the four women captive inside a shipping container, state police said. Three of the women were bound with rope and restrained, and Jackson sexually assaulted two of them, troopers said.

The victims were forced to have sex with Jackson, who threateningly walked around the property “with a chainsaw, sledgehammer and axe,” WPVI reported, citing court documents.

They were driven to another location June 25, at which point the women were given back their phones with strict warnings they were not allowed to tell anyone what happened, WNEP reported.

But one of the victims, according to the court documents obtained by WFMZ, contacted her mother, who then called police. The mother gave authorities details about the SUV Jackson and Rogers-Keeney were driving, and the two men were tracked to a Walmart in Mount Pocono, troopers said.

State police found Rogers-Keeney and one of the victims inside the SUV according to the news release. Jackson was detained as he was exiting the store with a separate victim, troopers said.

The other two women had already escaped captivity, police told WPVI.

Mancuso said in an interview with WFMZ the victims ages range from 17 to 21.

Jackson, 29, faces 29 charges, including kidnapping, rape, sexual assault, unlawful restraint and false imprisonment, according to court records.

Rogers-Keeney, 19, faces 23 charges, including sexual assault, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment and conspiracy, the court records show.

State police did not disclose the condition of the four victims.
