DNA connects 62-year-old to cold case rape from 1992, Missouri cops say. He’s charged
A nearly 32-year-old rape case in St. Louis County is moving forward after a DNA analysis identified a suspect, Missouri police said.
Stacy Pollock, 62, of Oklahoma was charged June 4 with forcible rape with a weapon in connection with a 1992 cold case, St. Louis County police said in a news release.
On Sept. 17, 1992, he blindfolded a woman with a bandanna and tied her hands and feet together with rope, according to a probable cause statement. He also threatened to kill her with a knife, police said.
Pollock used the knife to cut her clothes off, according to the complaint.
He was arrested June 5 in Oklahoma and was being held on a $500,000 bond, St. Louis County police said.
