Teen charged in 2022 shooting of 15-year-old left to die in parking lot, MO cops say
A 17-year-old has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy in 2022, Missouri deputies said.
Christopher Ford and two other juveniles drove 15-year-old Demond Tucker to a partially vacant apartment complex parking lot on Dec. 21, 2022, St. Louis County Sgt. Tracy Panus said in a news release.
Tucker was shot three times and left to die in the Jennings parking lot, Panus said.
Tucker was pronounced dead at the scene when deputies arrived, according to a news release.
“Demond will live forever in my heart as well as many others,” Tucker’s aunt said in a 2022 Facebook post.
Ford was arrested and charged with murder and armed criminal action on March 13, according to deputies. His bond was set at $750,000.
Attorney information for Ford was not listed.
Jennings is about a 10-mile drive northwest of St. Louis.
