Folks are showing off their Barbies that could be roaming around Barbieland, and things are getting kind of weird.

A central theme of the “Barbie” movie, released on July 21, shows that the dolls people play with in the “real world” also live in an alternate reality called Barbieland.

Now, owners are flooding TikTok to share videos of their dolls and feeling bad for succumbing the hot pink world to such … interesting-looking Barbies.

In a video posted by user @yassified_hexagon, a Barbie wearing a pink dress is shown with a decapitated head.

But don’t worry, her head is close by. It’s just attached by a very long piece of pink ribbon, according to the TikTok captioned, “I’m so sorry for what I have brought to Barbieland.”

Another video, posted by @C0sm1cduck on TikTok, shows two Barbies altered to look like the titular characters from Disney Channel’s Phineas and Ferb.

The TikToker jokingly wrote in the video, “Somewhere in Barbieland they’re lurking.”

Another TikToker, @shrexy_ogre, unaware of what she’d created in Barbieland before watching the film, wrote “I feel so bad” in a video with over 12.9 million views as of Aug. 2. It shows her Barbie altered to look like the Lorax from the 2012 Universal Pictures movie “The Lorax.”

Users took to the comments to share their thoughts on the alternative Barbie approach with one saying, “I love this trend.”

“Imagine her walking around Barbieland,” one wrote.

“What if in the next movie if they do one, they use these Barbie’s as inspiration in the movies,” another said.
