Terrified dog fleeing fireworks gets trapped between buildings. See California rescue
A dog was rescued after fleeing the sound of fireworks and getting wedged between two buildings, California rescuers said.
The “beloved pet” was likely stuck in the “narrow space” overnight in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Tujunga, the Los Angeles Fire Department said in a July 5 Facebook post.
Firefighters said they came to help the owner get the trapped canine after “finishing up with a medical response nearby” on Wednesday, July 5.
A series of photos posted by the fire department on Flickr show firefighters accessing the crack between two concrete walls where the dog was trapped before trying to rescue it.
Firefighters freed the dog, who was not hurt, officials said.
After its rescue, photos show the scroungy-looking pup made its way around the firefighters, getting pets along the way
