A driver slammed into another car waiting in a McDonald’s drive-thru lane in California after accusing a woman of cutting the line, police said.

When the woman got out of her car, the driver struck her with the vehicle and dragged her 150 feet across the parking lot in Richmond on Feb. 5, Richmond Police Department said in a Facebook post. The driver then got out of the vehicle and punched the woman in the face several times, police said.

The woman recorded on her phone as the driver yelled at her and then threw items at her car, according to a video posted on Instagram.

“You should have never cut!” the driver yells in the video.

The driver also asks the woman to get out of her car several times, the video shows. Police said the woman had children in the car during the “violent, unprovoked attack.”

The two-minute video ends when the driver rams into the woman’s car so she gets out of the vehicle. That’s when the driver strikes the woman and drags her across the parking lot.

After punching the woman the driver fled the scene, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the driver is asked to contact Detective O. Guzman at OGuzman@RichmondPD.net or call 510-672-2493.
