A driver ran from a serious injury crash that injured at least two people Monday evening, Feb. 8, on Everson Goshen Road, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Two vehicles collided around 6 p.m. on Everson Goshen at Van Dyk Road, leaving one person trapped in a car and injuring up to two other people, said Trooper Heather Axtman. One person suffered “serious” injuries, she added.
As of Monday night, state troopers had not released details about the people in the crash, the nature of their injuries, or the vehicles involved.
The driver of one car fled the scene. Police dogs and a U.S. border helicopter were called in to help search, but as of 9 p.m., he had not been found, Axtman said.
