Bellingham police responded to a report of a shooting Sunday. Here’s what they found

No injuries occurred in a shooting incident Sunday in Bellingham that is still under investigation.

Officers responded around 1:30 p.m. to the 2100 block of Alabama on the Woburn Street side of the complex to a report of shots fired, Lt. Claudia Murphy told The Bellingham Herald in an email.

A Bellingham Police Department Rescue vehicle was sent to the scene.

While initial reports indicated a victim had been shot, officers determined this was false and there were no injuries on the scene.

Police were unable to locate a shooter, and no arrests were made.
