Police: Robber pulled knife on man in downtown Bellingham
A man pulled a knife and demanded money from another man outside the Wild Buffalo as the bar closed early Saturday, June 27, according to police.
Joshua Joseph Emley, 32, pointed a knife at the victim on Holly Street around 2 a.m. Saturday, said Sgt. Mike Scanlon. The victim said he had no money and ran away before calling police.
Police found Emley near the scene and arrested him on suspicion of first-degree robbery. He remained in Whatcom County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail Tuesday morning.
