Seahawks’ Jeremy Lane to bowl at Ferndale fundraiser

Join Seattle Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane and the Bellingham Sea Hawkers fan club as they bowl for charity Saturday, June 25.

Lanes With Lane, as the benefit is called, will raise money for Knitted Knockers, which provides prostheses for women who have undergone breast cancer surgery. It starts at 4 p.m. at Mt. Baker Lanes, 1788 Labounty Drive.

Jeremy Lane will bowl on a lane whenever someone gets a colored head pin (the No. 1 in the rack for you bowlers). If Lane gets a strike, that person could win tickets to a Seahawks home game, a signed bowling ball or limited edition autographed memorabilia.

Teams of six are sought though individual bowlers can register as well. Cost is $75 per person for a team or $80 individual; register at Brown Paper Tickets. Those who just want to watch pay $25 at the door.
