Ferndale school superintendent staying put after Bothell job filled
Superintendent Linda Quinn will be staying at Ferndale schools after another person was selected to head up Bothell schools.
Quinn was one of three finalists for the superintendent position at the Northshore School District, the Bothell district announced last week. The finalists met with the district’s board on Wednesday, June 15, for a public forum.
The board selected Michelle Reid, now the South Kitsap School District superintendent, in a Thursday, June 16, board meeting, the Northshore School District announced.
Reid accepted the position, according to the South Kitsap School District.
Quinn has been head of Ferndale schools since 2009, when she replaced longtime Superintendent Roger Lehnert following his sudden death.
