Bellingham vigil for those killed in Orlando set for Monday night
People are planning to gather outside Rumors Cabaret in downtown Bellingham Monday night, June 13, to honor those gunned down in an Orlando nightclub.
The 9 p.m. vigil is loosely organized, but word has been spreading on social media. It’s unclear how many people may end up attending.
An armed man shot 49 people to death and wounded dozens more in the early Sunday shooting at a gay Orlando club. It is the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
Rumors, Bellingham’s only gay bar, is at 1119 Railroad Ave., near Boundary Bay Brewery.
