Linda Quinn, superintendent for the Ferndale School District, is a finalist for the same post at the Northshore School District in Bothell.
Quinn will be one of three finalists who will meet with the Northshore school board in a public forum Wednesday, June 15, the district in Bothell said. The other finalists are Michelle Reid, superintendent of the South Kitsap School District in Port Orchard, and Adrian Talley, executive director of student services at Prince George’s County Public Schools in Maryland.
Quinn, who earned her master’s degree from Western Washington University, moved from California to take the Ferndale post in 2009. She followed former superintendent Roger Lehnert, who died suddenly after 19 years in the position.
Ferndale schools serve about 4,700 students from preschool to grade 12. The Northshore School District serves nearly 21,000.
